Jim Carrey and long time girlfriend Jenny McCarthy have gotten married.

Via Contact Music:

Jim Carrey has ”married” his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy in an intimate commitment ceremony in Malibu.

Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have “married”.

The couple, who have been dating since 2005, held a special commitment ceremony in Malibu, during which they promised to be together forever.

A source said: “The vows basically said that they would ‘be forever in love’ with one another and that they would always be together. For the two of them, it was as good as a marriage ceremony.”

The pair pledged their love for each other in front of family and friends, before travelling to Las Vegas for their own version of a honeymoon.

The source told the National Enquirer magazine: “They stayed at the Fantasy Tower in a luxury Sky Villa suite. When they weren’t kissing and cuddling, the two of them played Texas hold ‘em.”

Jim, 47, has been legally married twice, and has always claimed proposing to Jenny, 36, would spoil their relationship.

A source added: “He insists that he and Jenny are incredibly happy together, and they don’t want to jinx things by tying the knot. Jim says he doesn’t need a legal ceremony or a piece of paper, and Jenny feels the same.”

You don’t need a prenuptial agreement when you have a commitment ceremony it just a ceremony pledging there love to each other, it not legal ceremony.

some people just dont wanna marry, to each his own, just like my uncle, him and his woman been together for over 40 years, and they arent married, they say they wanted it that way, and they are happy, they still travel, show love, do everything together, make all decisions together, respect each other, etc, etc, sure my uncle has money out that ass, she does to, she came with her own dough, they both are in their 50s if they happen to split, neither one cares about money, they both got it, she come from money, and he did to. so to each his own, if it works, god bless them
