Angela Simmons is addressing the hate for her swirl relationship.

Now that I have a moment to sit down and reflect, I wanted to talk to you about something I have recently noticed. I am a lil surprised at the number of people that seem to disapprove of the relationship with my boyfriend. I find this reality to be kind of hard to accept. There are times when I notice people giving us long hard stares and those stares are usually from my own people!
Honestly, I wish everyone could benefit from the beauty that can come from experiences that happen outside of your own comfort zone. It is truly a beautiful thing that can add so much to your life.
Give it a shot and you can learn so much from a person you never thought you’d talk to or have something in common with. I’m not just talking about dating but about all types of relationships.
Sometimes society makes it hard for us to be comfortable enough in our own skin to embrace others who are different.
I am a firm believer that we are all the same.
Basically what I’m saying is love everyone. Rise above the hate.

A lot of people know that a poor hispanic man ONLY dates black for black money or a greencard.
We have NEVER saw a rich hispanic man sit a black woman up in a mansion, but we have saw huge amounts of black men lining up to take care of their women.

I’m all for what she’s saying but in my personal opinion, I think when people comment on/defend their interracial relationships they’re really the ones that are bothered by it. Again just my opinion.

Sooo…who is this guy anyway? How do we know he’s broke and do you really think her father (or her uncle Russell) for that matter) would let some random dude totally rip her off?!! She’s young and having fun, just like a lotta brothers who step out on us ladies, to test the waters with different races. We need to come on up to the new Millennium and realize there are various people of various races who are just as fun, loving and interesting as our own culture!
