Bebe Winans’ wife Debra is hurt that Oprah has allowed Bebe on her show after allegedly throwing her to the ground months ago.

Via Eurweb:

TMZ.com has tracked down the ex-wife of gospel star BeBe Winans to get her reaction to his continued appearances on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” despite his ongoing domestic violence case.

In February, Debra Winans made headlines after accusing her ex-husband of shoving her to the ground in front of their two kids, ages 10 and 13. According to the report, the two had a “verbal altercation” regarding “custody issues dealing with their children.”

In light of Winfrey’s stand against domestic violence, and particularly Chris Brown, who has pleaded guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna, Debra Winans tells TMZ she’s “hurt by Oprah’s decision to have BeBe on the show.”

Ironically, BeBe’s arrest in February came one day before Oprah aired her domestic violence special in response to the Chris Brown case.

With a domestic violence charge pending until another court hearing next year, BeBe was on “Oprah” Friday to promote “Still,” his new gospel album with sister CeCe. He is also the host of “Oprah’s Karaoke Challenge,” a nationwide competition to find the best karaoke singer.

Seems hypocritical to me..If Oprah made such a deal out of Chris Brown hitting on Rihanna..how could she support BeBe Winans and what he is doing? Oh because its gospel music? Still domestic violence is domestic violence so if Chris Breeze is wrong BeBe Winans the gospel singer is wrong too :( Damn Oprah

Seems Oprah allowed herself to open a can of worms by coming out against Chris Brown so hard. What’s good for the goose has to work for the gander, she needs to have Bebe step down until his case is settled. Fair is fair.

Don’t watch Oprah..But I’m sure Oprah has had tons of folks on her show that have done it all..domestic abuse, pedifiles, rapist, killers, etc….

Oprah thinks she is in a position to pick and choose who she is loyal to and otherwise. I too find her to be a hypocrite. She loves the Winans and wouldn’t give a damn if he beat his ex’s ass. Oprah would find a show to justify it. Chris to her is a snot nose punk and there is nothing to be gained from knowing him. Oprah is the same one that talked about and did a show against rap. And now she loves Jayzs dirty drawls….. Fat slave face double talking dyke.

I do agree with the above.. Its not fair… but I feel Chris is much much younger then BeBe and this incident was a teaching one. I was very upset with Chris when I saw Rihanna’s face..but I was even more upset with Oprah b/c this heffa<– yea I said. she's had rapist, on her show.. She's had people she strongly dislikes on her show..
