Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent chopped it up with Uncle O and Mikey Dread from Philly’s Power 99 yesterday and really went in on this Jay-Z thing. You know what I find funny, everyone hates on Suge Knight for what he did to his artists and how they end up broke. But Jay gets a free pass when it comes to that. There’s lots of shit being talked about about Jay from many parties that knew him from way back and were good friend (Foxy Brown, Jaz-O, Beanie, Dame etc.). There has to be some truth to the fact that maybe, just maybe, Jay-Z is a bitch ass who just cares about money and nothing else. True, it is a business but hey, at the end of the day there’s more to life than money.
Speaking of Jay, every since he went at it with Nas and then hooked up with Beyonce and Kanye, he’s become a caricature of himself. Reasonable Doubt was by far his best album and the most recent stuff is just garbage, especially when compared to his earlier stuff.
I read prior that he now proclaimed himself the greatest rapper of all time. Lyrically, he could be. But as far as his influence on hip hop the past 8 years, he definitely didn’t do it much good.
If Tupac was in the same place that Jay is at now, I believe that he would have done much more for the community and to raise awareness to issues plaguing the world. Jay is just a corporate puppet, who cares about money. Guys like Tupac cared about the music and making a difference.

The reason Beans is speaking out because he’s bitter. U guys act like if u was in his position u would be cool. Jay-z was messing over everybody. Beans should have learned to start his own business and create his own lane. But instead he called jay and dame boss maybe becuase he was under contract.
We also need to understand we as consumers don’t know Jay-z personally, Beanie does. U could say he hating all u want, but dude got played just like all the other rocafella artist. Beanie should learn from this, and take advantage of the relationship with 50 and learn how to protect yourself in this cruel world of the music industry and Business in General.

I agree M.O. this is important news, because Beans is someone who has legitamate hood credibility that people are going to listen too. Dame was a arrogant, self centered asshole so when he crash and burned people wanted to see that in a sense. But Jay-Z is a snake in the grass only loyal to the nigaa he sees in the mirror. and Jay has his fans in a zombie like state where he can do no wrong and he epitomizes true hip-hop or whatever. I remeber at a concert in Philly; Jada Kiss called Beans out on stage; LOOK HERE; Beans and his camp came in deep and ran that MF right off the stage. Some funny ass shit. This whole beef is pointless. Everybody is lookin for a way out of the struggle, especially financial. What do people expect when big money is flashed in someones face?
I understand that Dame was pissed about the Armadale vs. Budweiser Promos, he had every right to be and that Beans is pissed about being left behind, but there come a point in all relationships where people are gonna want to go their own way so I don’t blame Jay for takin that money and running, hell he was in a business with crooks lookin for legit money. How much more legit can you get when your getting endoresment deals and a sneaker. Diversify yourself, make moves that’ll last forever so your kids kids will be straight. Friends come and go, if you get mad at someone for improving on their life then what kinda friend are you. Beans was shown an avenue towards legit money if he had a record company and a mainstream clothing line (i got a closet full of State Prop Sh1t)and aint take advantage of it then who fault is that, you’ll don’t hear Jeezy complaining.

As time goes on, it seems as if rappers that speak to the people are either killed off or pushed out of the game. Pimp C been calling out motherfuckers in the industry for the longest but as soon as the world found out who he was and started listening he (was killed) died. As soon as rappers start getting knowledge and talk about the Illuminati, remember Pac’s last studio album Killuminati? Well the title was short for (Kill illuminati). Fuck Gay-Z. Never liked him or his music, and really started hating his punk camel faced ass with the whole best rapper shit. How can you say you’re better than the two nigs who revolutionized the very reason why you even exist? Pac and Bigs were the biggest things, not only in the black community as far as music, but in everything else as well. People changed the way they acted, dressed, and talked behind these two. There’s even classes about Pac’s lyrics. Really? And you are better than these men? If they were still around Jay wouldn’t even have a spot anywhere in the rap game. Pay respect where respect is due. At the end of the day who really wants to hear a new Beanie Sigel record? Beans is just a pawn in 50 Cents promotinal plans for his new CD. Every time 50 has a new project, he conjures up this beef with different rappers. If he would just make better music, instead of putting out 5 or 6 bad singles, he would not have start this fake beef when he has a new CD coming out. Jay really don’t have to respond, he don’t need to. This will get Beans and 50 some free publicity for a few weeks.
