Boy, I miss the good BET days. I was in my early 20’s watching Teen Summitt. It was a joy to watch positive black shows. BET is all trash and nothing positive.

I know that Rosci chick isn’t Black. That’s why I said what I said.

Although BET ain’t about shit unfortunately, it still sucks that they’d probably catch hell if they didn’t allow folks who aren’t Black on that particular show. So yeah I’m racist just like all these other networks that throw a Black actor/actress in a show every once in a while. Can’t tell me that shit ain’t racist when every time you turn the damn channel you see a White face.

@Brynn… Technically NO, it’s not racism. Blacks weren’t ‘allowed’ to be on white channels, hence the creation of a TV Channels ‘for blacks’ BLACK ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION, u know a minority station… Imagine a parking space created for the disabled, do u think it’s ‘fair’ to have an ‘abled’ person in that spot? seeing as though plenty are ‘created’ for them elsewhere and this one is made ’specificially’ for this [disabled] group?

I don’t mind ‘whites’ or others [non blacks] appearing on BET but doesn’t it defeat the purpose to cater to all when they are called BLACK ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION? same reason ‘we’ are mad at them for portraying us negatively, because they were ‘created’ to help not destroy our community.

@ TX, i was gonna say the same thing, but hey black folks on MTV, Nick and all them other ish so, not much different, plus it not everyday that a ‘white’ artist past thru so it’s not a prob, yet. Plus… ‘BLACK’ female artist (R&B/hiphop) look the same as gaga, straight hair, blonde hair, blue eyes (contacts), light skin (bleaching) <– damn i think i just describe beyonce without blue eyes, lol.
