Dame Dash Might Not Be as BROKE as We Thought

The thing about being a celebrity is, when you’re on top, everyone knows and celebrates with you but when that success hits a severe nose dive, the entire world watches while eating buttered popcorn. That’s what Dame Dash has experienced. We’ve seen him poppin’ bottles with Jay-Z, driving all types of expensive cars, showing off his swanky homes, talk about becoming a billionaire and then take one of the steepest and most embarrassing economic downturns in hip-hop history. Well, he might not be as impecunious as we first believed. Click Here.

We’ll hear about him not being able to make payments in 5, 4, 3,……

LOL @ MissTX85 & DT!!
I don’t know how much Dame was making with Jay-Z, but for example: If Dame was generating about $10 million a year for 5 years straight with Rocafella and other investments, and all of a sudden when Jay left, Dame only generates about $2 million a year….then Dame would probably feel broke and would encounter financial problems(ultimately living beyond his means). Sometimes people make purchases based on the current state of their finances, but fail to make preparations for Rainy days, such as the bad weather that Dame is encountering now….I’m still puzzled on the fact why Jay-Z left all his Artist/Brothers/Friends high and dry???
What’s good MO?!?!

@Alliswell, Jay left all the ppl in his life behind cuz he aint wanna end up like Hammer

@ Smurfette….I feel you on that!….but Hammer only generated $30 Million in his career, and Jay-Z is a Half-Billionaire.
Everybody is different, but if I was extremely rich and I had a few friends that always stayed Loyal to me….I’d make sure they never starve!….as long as helping them doesn’t make me starve also.

Pains me to say, but Jay is rubbing elbows with wicked people in high places. That’s why he cut so many people off. Dame reminds me of Frank Lucas’s brother in American Gangster. He drew attention to himself, is flamboyant, and lived beyond his means.
