I knew she wasn’t ending her show just to have more time to sit around. Oprah is getting her own network!!!!
This woman never ceases to amaze me. I wish she would open a school and teach women how to succeed like she did…or at least get us in the ballpark of her success. I would definitely be there.

Her audience will decrease because so many people still dont have cable that watch her show on networks, and wont be able to see her network, guess it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Who cares, go sit down Oprah. I am tired of hearing about this woman and her retirement. I agree with Yvonne share some of the wealth here in America. Open up some schools, business and put people back to work.

Oprah, is retiring in 2011 because Gayle was hating that Oprah wasn’t making it in time for bedtime; so they could snuggle up more.

O is the Queen of TV & will forever be it.
25 yrs nationally, and 27 years total( her show was on since 83 in Chicago).
That is excellent!
If the crappy jerry springer or ellen shows tie her I will be devasted.

@joneBlaze: You are right. I have basic cable. Discovery health is not included.
@brynnRock: If you did some research you’d know that O DOES do alot of charity work & give $ in US. She dont flanut it bc she does it bc she cares, not for the notoriety.
