Susan Boyle Breaks Records Becoming The Highest Selling Debut Female Artist In History
Posted by Media Outrage on December 3rd, 2009
Susan Boyle is making it rain in a mighty way. Yes, her face might look like one of her parents beat her all about the face for 2 hours with a bag of nickels but that’s besides the point. She has just become the highest selling debut female singer in history.
Via Yahoo:
Susan Boyle leads the pack as I Dreamed A Dream debuts at #1 with sales of 701,000. That’s the biggest one-week sales total of 2009. It beats Eminem’s Relapse, which sold 608,000 copies in its first week in May. It’s also the biggest first-week sales tally in Nielsen/SoundScan history for a debut album by a female artist. It tops Ashanti, which opened with sales of 503,000 in April 2002.

DAYUM!!! I’ve never heard any of her songs either!!
Well I guess this proves that SOME FEMALES don’t have to have blond weave, buy butt pads, wear tons of makeup, perform on stage wearing bathing suits, and shake your a$$ like you a stripper in a Vegas club…just to sell a few records!

I don’t know why, but I keep thinking about the “Throw Mama From The Train” movie. But, I guess you can sell records without having to be aesthetically pleasing.
