We regret to inform you that Tyler Perry’s mother, Willie Maxine Perry, has passed on.
Tyler Perry’s mother had been sick for a while. He will be in our prayers.

Mediaoutrage- It’s always tough to lose a loved one, especially someone as close as your mother. We’re glad that she got to witness for herself what a major success her son became. The fact that Tyler was able to spoil his mother and give her flowers while she was alive has to mean a lot. You’re in our prayers Tyler.

Oh Dear… Prayers to the Perry Family, it’s just unfathomable to think of a day when i say ‘mommy’ and no one will respond, i don’t think i can bear that, especially as ‘SPOILED’ as i am, oh DEAR
P.S. Tyler looks just like his mom, that must be where he got that ‘Madea’ idea from “me with hair = mommy” lol, must’ve been a ‘silent’ tribute to mommy long before this.

Sorry to hear that, his mother was the inspiration for a lot of the character he developed. RIP Mrs. Willie Maxine Perry.
