Charlie Sheen was arrested for domestic violence Christmas morning

Charlie Sheen was arrested yesterday in Aspen, Colorado for an alleged domestic violence incident and is being held in jail without bond.
Police responded after a 911 call was made at 8:34 AM on Friday. When cops arrived, they arrested the 44-year-old “Two and a Half Men” star for felony second degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief, a misdemeanor. Cops say all three charges are “coupled with a domestic violence component.”
The name of the victim was not disclosed.
An ambulance arrived on scene, but the alleged victim was not transported.
Sheen will stay in the Pitkin County Jail until he appears before a judge — his court date has not been set.
Also, Colorado law mandates a protective order between someone arrested of domestic violence and the alleged victim.
UPDATE 12/25/09 7:02 PM PST: Charlie has been released from the Pitkin County Jail. He posted $8,500 bond after speaking to a county judge.
Sources tell TMZ … There was contact between Charlie Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller – but the issue will be who started it.
We’re told Mueller called 911 claiming Sheen assaulted her. But we’re told Sheen told law enforcement that Brooke was the aggressor and he was just fending her off.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Brooke Mueller was legally drunk when she called 911 on Charlie Sheen … and, we’ve learned, Brooke has fessed up that her story was phony.
Sources say authorities gave both Charlie and Brooke blood alcohol tests. Brooke registered a .13 while Charlie registered a .04.
We’re also told Brooke recanted her story to a female officer just before the bail hearing, telling the cop she was drunk when she made the 911 call. Nevertheless, law enforcement sources say police will still pursue the case — at least for now.
We’ve also learned Sheen has hired well-known Colorado attorney Richard Cummins to represent him.
Sheen was arrested Christmas morning after Brooke called 911 claiming he assaulted her. Charlie was booked for two felonies and one misdemeanor relating to domestic violence.
As we first reported, Sheen told law enforcement Brooke was the aggressor and he was just trying to defend himself.
Charlie’s next court date is set for February 8.

Charlie Sheen does have a rep as a bad boy but from what I have been reading it may be Brooke who was the bad one this time.

Hmmmmmm drunk Xmas morning I hope they were still up from the Xmas eve party.But when she started bumpin ,he should have got up and moved around. Blizzard or not.And alot of the times when we do that ,you all try to stop us from leaving,but you keep arguing.Charlie move around playa. PEACE

Well if her story was phony, and she called the cops just being a bitch and drunk, then she was wrong! I will not put the blame on him, shit like that is not cool on women, once they get mad drunk or not, they wanna dial fucking 911 and lie on the man! i mean fair is fair, if she did fess up and lie about that shit, then SHE WAS WRONG!
