Kobe Does It Again!!! We Keep Telling Ya'll He's The Best Player You've Seen Since Jordan… Lebron Who???
Posted by Media Outrage on January 2nd, 2010
Last night, Kobe Bryant, delivered last second heroics to beat the Sacramento Kings on New Years day, at the Staples Center. We feel pretty redundant saying that he’s the best player on the planet…. but oh well. Kobe Bryant is the best player this league has seen since Michael Jordan hung up his expensive ass sneaks. Check the impressive game winner for yourself (Lebron Who???)…

O.K. MO, I understand that Tobe is your boy, and he has hit a few clutch shots this year, but that shot he made this time was a damn free throw for a NBA cat. No one on the court was even in the same area code. He has a ways to go yet as far as being “theeee clutch shooter” Robert Horry is the best we have seen yet, all of Horry’s clutch shots were to win Play off ganes and even series championships.

@2020- Michael Jordan was the best clutch player in the game. Reggie Miller was 2nd in that era. Kobe Bryant is the best clutch player in this past decade. Robert Horry was extremely clutch, but here’s what makes Kobe way better:
Robert Horry couldn’t CREATE HIS OWN SHOT. He had to have it passed to him while he spotted up, so that means if youcan’t get the ball to him then he can’t make the basket. Kobe can take the ball the entire distance of the floor and make ANYTHING happen off of the double team or just go one-on-one. That’s why he’s the best clutch player in the game.

alright MMO, you make a valid point, I respect ya mind, but Horry’s shots were championship shots, and he had ice water in his veins, and his percentage was incredible. Thats why I say Horry was the clutch shooter…………..Now I will admit that my opinion is biased because I cant stand Tobe’s crying ass.

LOL! Naw we feel that. Not everyone likes the dude but if they keep it all the way 100 and just judge basket ball skills, they will say that he is the best player in the game right now. Horry was definitely a better clutch SHOOTER, because he was the better SHOOTER. But we said Kobe is the best clutch PLAYER this game has seen since the likes of Michael Jordan. Just like REggie Miller was a better clutch SHOOTER than Jordan but he couldn’t create his own shots like Jordan could. See Kobe and Jordan can get a shot from anywhere on the court. They can take the 3. They can blow past their man for a 12 footer, or they can just take it to the rack, draw contact and get to the line if necessary. When there was 5 seconds left you never ever EVER saw Robert Horry DRIBBLING the ball to create a SHOT LOL! Phil would have blew his brains out on national tv, if that were to happen. But Kobe is the best clutch player because he is not confined to just one area of the floor and the dude has NO weaknesses.

LOL! its all gravy. Not too many people we know like Kobe. He killed that for himself when he came into the league acting all arrogant and anti-social. We still remember the All-Star game when he came out and you had to slap hands with all the kids in the line as he was being announced and he walked by lol without slapping the kids hands lmao! Which was probably a mistake but people never gravitated to his personality because of the arrogance. But the rape case really brought this brother back down to Earth and seemed to make him a better person. More social and way more humble.

If you think Kobe is better than Lebron, you don’t know anything about basketball, Lebron makes
the players around him better. Kobe is a great clutch shooter, but he has to be, because the Lakers
are always in close games against Scrub teams.

Bron is still in the top 2 in the league without a ring. BUT that list below is just sad. Steve Nash a better player than Kobe Bryant? There are a few players in the league that can completely take over a game and alter its outcome:
1.Kobe
2.Lebron
3.D Wade
4.Chris Paul
5.Paul Pierce
6.Carmelo
and the list could continue, but, who have you ever seen drop 81 points and shoot over 60% while doing so?!?!
This cat takes over games single-handedly the way Jordan used to. He and bron and D wade do this, it’s just Kobe does it more often and has been doing it way longer. Lebron is definitely a freak of nature and is the future of the NBA, special emphasis on (FUTURE) lol. Naw, he is the truth right now but in our opinion Kobe is more developed, as he should be given his longer career. But we can watch Bron all day also. The boy is bad!

Lol. Not so. YISI we just know basketball. When folks make statements that make NO sense we can tell that either they’re a HATER or don’t really understand BASKETBALL. You can hate him all you want which is cool, but, there is no denying he is a dynamic player. That’s all we’re saying. Not only is he dynamic but he’s the best in the league. There is only one person’s name that comes up in the sentence and that’s LEbron.

I raise my hand to say I am the number one HATER!!!!! on top of that I seriously do not think Kobe is the best in the league. Allow me to give you quotes from those that know better than myself::: From Suite 101… and your boy kobe falls to number 9
Our pre-season Top 10 NBA players included mainstays like LeBron James and Dwayne Wade. With a new season well underway, we have removed some NBA players and added others. Here is Suite101’s current Top 10 NBA Players.
Steve Nash, Phoenix Suns PG – Many were shocked when two-time defending NBA MVP Steve Nash was omitted from our pre-season Top 10 NBA Players list. Now, Nash climbs all the way to the top spot. Admittedly, we felt Nash’s success was due to being surrounded by remarkable NBA players. We now see that Nash is the real player. His stats tell the story: 20 points, 12 assists, 1 steal and 48% shooting from 3-point range. Plus, Nash has helped his Suns win 11 straight games.
Carmelo Anthony, Denver Nuggets SF – Many NBA experts have knocked Carmelo Anthony’s lack of all-around game. ‘Melo is facing his critics head-on with a super season on a less-than-stacked Nuggets team. Anthony is second among NBA players in scoring with 30.7 points per night. On a team that doesn’t ask him for rebounding, he grabs 5.4 boards per game and he hands out better than 4 assists per game. Plus, Anthony shoots 50% from the field and 81% from the line. Carmelo Anthony is now a go-to guy every night and one of the top NBA players.
Dwayne Wade, Miami Heat G – LeBron James vs. Dwayne Wade has been a trendy argument, when considering NBA players. Sorry, Cavaliers fans, but Wade is now winning this debate. Without star center Shaquille O’Neal, Wade has flourished, scoring 28 points per night. Asked to be more of a playmaker, Wade has responded with better than 8 assists per game, and he also hauls in 5 rebounds — not bad for a guy who plays both guard spots. With 1.5 steals and 1 blocked shot per game, Dwayne Wade is the total package and easily one of the top 10 NBA players.
Dwight Howard, Orlando Magic FC – In just his third season in the league, Dwight Howard is clearly one of the top NBA players. He has improved every season, and he leads the NBA in rebounding this year. Howard also scores 17.5 points per game, shoots 60% from the field, and blocks 2 shots. Straight out of high school, Howard is just reaching his potential, which is absolutely frightening.
Jason Kidd, New Jersey Nets PG – Few NBA experts would place Jason Kidd, a guy who averages just 13 points per game in the fifth spot on a Top NBA Player list. We’re big fans of Kidd’s all-around game, though, and believe he brings more every night than most other players. Jason Kidd is close to averaging a triple-double (9.6 assists and 8.7 rebounds). Kidd may not be the flashy player he used to be, but he’s still one of the top 10 NBA players.
LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers SF – My, how the mighty have fallen. LeBron James’ stats are down in virtually every category, though, and other NBA players on his level have improved. Still, LeBron can dismantle an NBA defense on any given night, and his 26.6 points 7 rebounds and 7 assists still make our eyes bulge.
Kevin Garnett, Minnesota Timberwolves F – We had Kevin Garnett in the two spot in our pre-season NBA Players Top 10 list, and his position here doesn’t mean we like him any less. Garnett, like LeBron James, may be the victim of bad coaching strategy and other player improvement. His numbers are still gaudy: 21.6 points, 12 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 2 blocks per night.
Gilbert Arenas, Washington Wizards G – At 28 points and 6 assists per game, Gilbert Arenas would make the top 10 in any NBA poll. More impressive is his ridiculous 42% shooting from the 3-point arc. Arenas shoots the 3 better than many players shoot free throws. Plus, at 2 steals per game, he’s a leading NBA defender, too.
Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers G – We’re blown away by the fact that Kobe Bryant is taking far fewer shots than a year ago (18.5 to 27.2) and leading his Lakers team to a much better season. Kobe is averaging better than 26 points per night and shooting 48% from the field. Meanwhile, Los Angeles is winning the Pacific Division.
Allen Iverson, Philadelphia 76ers G – It’s easy to write off Allen Iverson as a gunner and a malcontent, but it’s impossible to discount his production on the basketball court and his place among NBA players. Iverson leads the NBA in scoring and is handing out 7.3 assists per game. Plus, he’s among the NBA leaders in steals. Allen Iverson may not be with the 76ers much longer, but he’ll likely be one of the top 10 NBA players, no matter where he plays.

YISI – Once again that entire thesis statement is RIDICULOUS. They don’t know basketball honey. Anytime anyone says that Jason Kidd, Dwight Howard (Whom Kobe and the Lakers made look like he was a bench player last year), Gilbert Arenas, Steve Nash, Carmelo Anthony, or D Wade are better than Kobe Bryant, they are seriously DEVOID of basketball knowledge and their credibility is in serious jeopardy to us.

Jason Kidd has never won a championship and cannot take over a game the way Kobe Bryant can. Yes he is an exceptional floor general but is a terrible shooter.
Dwight Howard has not yet developed his offensive arsenol to the point where he is completely unstoppable. The championship was full proof of that. He was Missing in action.
Gilbert Arenas is a force on the offensive end but is not as special or effective a player as a Kobe Bryant and has yet to carry his team to the Eastern Conference finals.
Garnett is a beast but he’s not even in his prime, not as good as Kobe.
YISI Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and many other ex-NBA greats have been saying for years that Kobe Bryant is the best player in the league. Now they know the game and played it, so there it is. But once again anyone who KNOWS basketball would arrive to this conclusion. We understand when folks throw Lebron and D wade in the convo but anyone else,…….. not valid.
