Ludacris and Bill O'Reilly Squash Long Term Beef
Posted by Media Outrage on March 11th, 2010
Bill O’Reilly and Ludacris have finally put aside their differences of the past seven years. Bill O’Reilly criticized Luda’s lyrics and got him dropped from his Pepsi endorsement. Peep game…
Via Radaronline:
Feisty rapper Ludacris has made peace with Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively, bringing an end to one of the great showbiz feuds of the last decade.
In an exclusive interview the controversial rapper confirmed he confronted the conservative television host at a recent event and extended the hip hop hand of friendship.
“The first thing I said to him was, ‘I want to meet the guy who has had so much to say about me, but knows absolutely nothing about me’,” Ludacris told RadarOnline.com.
“I identified that I wanted to speak to him when I saw his name on the guest list. I looked at what table he was on, and I walked my a** straight to that table.
“He wasn’t expecting to see me, at all. The look on his face when he saw me approaching… priceless.”
And in the most unlikely pairing, Ludacris said the foes even teamed up for a recent charity event, which was kept secret.
In 2002, when Pepsi announced Ludacris as one of its spokespeople, O’Reilly demanded a boycott against the company for hiring someone who “disrespects women, encourages drug use and encouraged violence.”
Pepsi immediately fired Ludacris. O’Reilly continued to condemn the rapper for years, calling him “vile” and a “thug” rapper.
Of the peace-brokering, Ludacris said: “The conversation we had was confidential, however, let’s just say it was a good conversation and good came out of it.
“From there, we came to a common ground. To be honest with you, we came together and did an event for charity – as crazy as it sounds. Perhaps everything happens for a reason
“I prayed since the very first moment that Bill said something about me on television that I would be able to meet him in person.
“It took about seven years for that to happen, but it finally happened. And the joy that came over me, well, it was outstanding.”
Ludacris’ new album The Battle of the Sexes has spawned the hit single How Low, which has gone platinum.

Funny this “vile thug rapper” took the first step to being the bigger man and letting bygones be bygones.
Love Luda! Always have.
