One thing I’d like to say is that before getting more laptop or computer memory, look into the machine into which it would be installed. When the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the actual memory ceiling is 3.25GB. Installing above this would purely constitute a new waste. Make sure one’s mother board can handle the upgrade volume, as well. Good blog post.
