Celtics Return In Strong Fashion To Tie Series

Posted by Media Outrage on June 7th, 2010

The men in green really put their thing down last night as they tied the series up at 1-1.  Kevin Garnett got into early foul trouble and had to take a seat in the first quarter but that didn’t stop Ray Allen the rifle-man from going crazy on the Lakers and shooting a remarkable 7-for-7 from 3-point land in the first-half.  In all of our years watching basketball, we don’t think we’ve ever seen long-distant shooting that spectacular!  Rajon Rondo was also on fire as he penetrated at will, dished for double-figure assists, grabbed countless boards earning himself a championship tripple-double.

Kobe Bryant was hampered by constant foul-trouble but Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum definitely picked up the slack and held them in the game, but in the end, it was just too much Rondo and Ray Allen.

Allen set a championship record by hitting 8 three-pointers in a game.  Ray shot a blistering 8-10 from downtown.  The championship is shaping up to be a highly contested match-up between two offensive and defensive juggernauts.  Now the series shifts to Boston.  Awe shucks!  Lol.
