Not quite the comeback song I was looking for from her, but I know Jazmine won’t let us down.

Oh she’s from Philly? No wonder I don’t like her.
Just kidding. I’m sure she’ll come w/ something better tho.

Eh, doesn’t sound like the Jazmine I’m used to.
And I see why, Missy’s behind it. Seems when folks collaborate her, their stuff doesn’t sound as good when Missy’s alone. Just saying.

Her voice is UNDENIABLE!!!
However, this track is “meh”
and Missy yelling “new jazmine” is NOT helping at allllllll, didn’t she yell that in like, ALL of her album songs? WTF?! By now she should be yelling “new new new new new new new new Jazmine”, lolololol.

Missy needs to try something ‘new’ and stop with the shoutouts. WE KNOW YOU HELPED PRODUCE THE SONG ALREADY geez. LOL.
This is okay. I love Jazmine though. Love her entire debut. She should’ve won all kinds of Grammys for it, but she didn’t, unfortunately.

Girl i’ve been doing my little ‘rants’ all over MO, for that album, EVERY and i do mean EVERY TRACK was excellent! I still feel Jhud got a ‘pity grammy’ because of family loss, because if there was any category that Jazmine should have a win, it was for that one “Best R&B Album”, tell me aprt from “spotlight” waht other tracks do you know from that album, i’m still sooooo HEATED.
Favorite Track “After The Hurricane”
*Pulls Out Piano*
I can see it in his eyes (Oh I), and he’s been avoiding me all day
It seems as though he wants to cry, (Oh, I) and he’s been acting really strange
He starts talkin’ and I tuned him out
It doesn’t matter anyway
Because I knew as soon as I saw clouds, yea
I knew what he was gonna say
Cause when the tears start flowin’ and the wind starts blowin’
That’s how you know it’s comin’ for you
When the rain start fallin’ and you feel the pain comin’
That’s how you know it’s comin’ for you
Just like a hurricane, just like a hurricane, the way you break everything that comes in your way
Just like a hurricane, Just like a hurricane, the way you broke my heart and now I’m left with the pain
After the hurricane
Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh Ooh

See, don’t get me started now. I’m at WERK and my boss will probably give me the stank-eye if I crank this record.
Jazmine’s album gave me LIFE! It was an album MOST R&Bsters WISH they had made. It shat all over everything and as much as I like JHud (more as an actress/celeb than singer), you’re right about her Grammy.
It’s records like Jazmine’s that get lost in time but resurrected by music lovers years later.
She should re-release it with new singles LOL if these other singers can re-release their already bland and boring and typical records then Jazz could too. I just hope she blows up with this record…probably not with this song but hopefully with other features. She’s mad talented. SMH. I love her. LOL

Sounds like they were playing around in the studio. And I agree with ya’ll, Missy needs to fall back off of Jaz’s track even if she did produce it. Reminds me of Diddy’s annoying ass “It’s Bad boy baby”, “it’s that Dirty money”, “Take that, take that”.
“After the Hurricane” is my fave song off the album too! Don’t it sound like something L Boogie would have on “Miseducation…”
