Erykah Badu Fined $500 & 6 Months Probation For Getting Naked In Video
Posted by Media Outrage on August 18th, 2010
Erykah Badu has been hit with a $500 fine (we’re sure she’ll really struggle to pay that – sarcasm) and 6 months probation for stripping down to her birthday suit in her video Window Seat:
Erykah Badu has paid a $500 fine and will serve six months probation for stripping during a music video shoot at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, where President John F. Kennedy was fatally shot in 1963. The singer, who is from Dallas, performed a walking striptease on March 13 for her “Window Seat” music video. Police in April cited her for disorderly conduct after a witness made a sworn complaint. A number of children were among the tourists and other random passers-by seen on the video. Dallas city spokesman Frank Librio says Badu paid the fine Friday.
Mediaoutrage- Does the fine fit the crime?

Didnt realize that Badu had such a hot body. She would be selling millions if she would rock hot pants and tight shirts in her vids. She probably has a hotter body than Beyonce, Ciara, Nicki Minaj and Amber Rose. Talk about a hidden gem, lol

“She probably has a hotter body than Beyonce, Ciara, Nicki Minaj and Amber Rose.” <– Not 'probably', SHE DOES!!!
A lady doesn't need to expose herself to be 'sexy', a true hidden gem indeed! Love HER!
P.S. I don't think all that 'nudity' was warranted in that vid and i'm still at a lost interms of it's significance.IDK! *shrug*

Her nudee parts were blocked out and the complete nudeness lasted all of 10 seconds or something.
I like Badu. Love the song. But the video…the whole ‘groupthink’ I feel like she came up with after the fact; that it wasn’t inherent in her original recording or conception of the song…and that’s okay! But when you tag on different things towards the end of a project, it’s not always as coherent.
The video overall was grainy; not a clear image; fuzzy. I would never have known she was ‘completely’ nude unless she hadn’t said so on her Twitter. Like I said, those ‘parts’ were blocked out. We could’ve been none the wiser, had she never admitted to it…that is, until the charges were dropped and people began complaining. LOL
