Posted by Media Outrage on January 12th, 2011

Last night “The Game” returned with its long-awaited 4th season on BET which saw plenty of drama unveiled on the one hour debut. Every body and they mama was watching while Tweeting and Facebook’ing about the episode. What we want to know is did the first episode live up to the HYPE???

Were you feelin’ it?

Were you feelin’ Terrence J and Wendy’s surprise?

You know Debra Lee is very proud of the cast since they will probably bring great ratings to BET’s lame programming schedule. Debra probably felt so overwhelmed with gratitude that she wanted to give Hosea Chanchez a ______

It was aight. I felt like they tried too hard to bring the drama. Why did they pick up 2 years later? Stupid.

the writers did a good job on the return episode. Melanie made me mad at the end with all that scheming! I hope Derwin leaves her pathetic ass. Terrence J was useless.

I loved the show…they had to catch us up to date….two years late seems fair to me especially since it’s been two years since the last show….looking forward to a great season….best to all

I was disappointed. After two years why did they have Tasha as a cougar? Kelly as the new angry black woman in white skin? Melanie as a insecure jealous wife? Milik as an arrogant ass=hole? Derwin still a punk? Jason bitter with no career?

And adding in two no talents, like Terrence and Megan Goode! Why did Megan keep slapping Milk with nothing behind it accept toilet sex?

I mean come BET, If you pick it up, make it good otherwise I will be left with the original season as the best.

I was a little disappointed but it was just ok. It should get better but I give it a 6 out of 10. It should pick up

But did you see that second show “lets stay together?” TRUE BAFOONERY AND COONERY!!!!!

DT, I missed the second show. Based on your comment I am very happy I did! I give the game the same score.

I saw the second show and agree with the score.

@ DT….check out the show Martin Lawrence produced called Love That Girl with Tatiana Ali. That show is worse than bafoonery and coonery. I don’t even have a name for it…it’s just bad.

Yeah that damn “Love That Girl” is boring as hell. I’m surprised they brought it back after the 1st season.

Btw, didn’t bother watching “The Game”. I knew it wasn’t gonna be worth it.

@Yvonne…Love that Girl is like watching Asian Migits in a slam dunk contest…..JUST PLAIN STUPID!

Martin Lawrence needs to have his ass whipped for that shit!

I watched it and thought it was ok. Megan Goode having sex in the bathroom with Malik was nasty but I guess it’s the setup for upcoming drama when Megan’s owner husband finds out about her and Malik…the same with Melanie not telling Derwin he really is the father.

Disappointed with Wendy’s character but it’s only the first episode. I’ll keep watching to see what happens.

I am disappointed…the show was so over the top..to much and the acting was not Good at all in the beginning..I want the show to do well but I just do not know right now..it is like they are trying just to hard..I did not like Kelly’s role, Tasha was getting on my nerves and Melanie and Derwin were just so immature and Malik was just Stupid…I will watch next week but if I miss it that will be ok but if I do happen to be sitting in front of the T.V. I will watch.

I think they were trying to hard to come out the gates swinging. I think this season is gonna show how they start to fall apart as individuals vs the success they had as a close knit group. I understand that drama keeps peoples attention but they could’ve strecthed the drama out over a couple of episodes, like the whole DJ paternity situation should’ve been the topic of three or four shows. Malik is ego trippin hard so is Kelly, next to Derwin they should share the most random series of unfortunate events. Jason and Tasha are about where I thought they’d be at this point.

oh and that ‘lets stay together’… whomp whomp
