We haven’t had a lot of black romance on TV but the ones we’ve been fortunate enough to see have been quite good. Cliff and Claire Huxtable are without a doubt the greatest black couple we’ve seen in television history as most would agree. Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad kept the romantic sparks going for 8 years from 1984-1992. This couple like no other juggled the responsibility of raising kids, work, and showing black love at its finest and for that we salute them. They might be the best black couple in television history but they’re not our favorite!
