Soulja Boy Drops $55 Million On Private Jet
Posted by Media Outrage on July 29th, 2011
Soulja Boy did the unthinkable – then again – not where he’s concerned. The horrible talent-less rapper just dropped a whopping $55 million not on someone’s college fund, the stock market, feeding the homeless, purchasing part of a sports franchise, the cure for AIDS (which Magic Johnson has had since the 90′s!), but on a private Jet ya’ll! A G5 to be exact. Yes, the G5 is the one you hear Jay-Z talk about in songs so often.
But wait there’s more
They say that he did this for his birthday and will be spending another $20 million not on world hunger, the stock market, computers for kids in impoverished cities, a sports franchise, an up coming tech company, Facebook, starting his own Facebook, trying to make Twitter make financial sense but pimping out his ride!!!!!
SMH!!!! Somewhere, somebody in his own camp that has the maturity of an ant is saying “They Should Have Never Gave you Ninjas money!!!!”
Via TMZ
Soulja Boy doesn’t know the meaning of the word recession — because TMZ has learned, the 21-year-old rapper is dropping $55 MILLION on a new private jet.
A member of Soulja’s management team tells us … the kid bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.
The jet cost $35 mil … but that’s just the beginning. We’re told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff … like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.
We’re told S.B. is also gutting the in-flight lavatory — and replacing it with a giant, LUXURIOUS bathroom. Oh, he’s also giving the jet a custom paint job … to include his logo.
And if that’s not enough for someone’s 21st — we’re told Soulja’s also spending $300,000 to throw himself a blowout birthday party at a Miami nightclub tonight … and Dwight Howard, Bow Wow, and Sean Kingston are all expected to attend.
Kids these days.
Mediaoutrage- What The Fluck is wrong with this dude??? Please stop buying his music and financing such stupidity!!! SMH!

I refuse to believe that soulja boy has that kind of cash, this story has to be false! M.O. is turning into MTO with an untrue story like this!

I really didn’t think he had the capital to purchase a private jet. He has one hit single and he can afford to maintain a plane. Forget dropping 55 million, it costs a grip to maintain a plane which is why many celebrities only rent even if they have the money.

This is one of the reasons we continue to lag behind economically. Once we obtain money we don’t have the education on how to make the capital work for us. Damn, has anyone in his immediate family or circle heard of a financial advisor? Being an entertainer making a considerable amount of money he has to have a lawyer or someone that should give him financial council.

Now, I see why people keep kickin’ his ass. There are many ways that he could invest or give back and write it off tax time, but, he’s caught up. The generations give back differently. Some do things that have a long term benefit, and some do it just for the immediate spotlight. He doesn’t give a f*ck, and I can live with that. I can also live with roflmao the next time somebody put a knot on the side of his head or, when the day comes he won’t be able to afford the gas to crank that b*tch up.

Of course, you and most people would find that hard to believe, considering the fact you don’t know him, don’t know how much influence he has on the internet, or better yet, don’t know the music/internet business. It’s a known fact that record sales aren’t where the REAL money is for artist in this digital world.

I leave a response each time I especially enjoy a article on a site or I have something to valuable to contribute to the conversation. Usually it is a result of the sincerness communicated in the post I looked at. And on this post Media Outrage » Blog Archive » Soulja Boy Drops $55 Million On Private Jet. I was actually moved enough to post a comment
I do have 2 questions for you if it’s allright. Is it only me or does it look like some of the responses come across like written by brain dead individuals?
And, if you are posting on other online sites, I’d like to follow you. Could you make a list all of your community pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
