Jason Kidd was arrested yesterday morning for driving while intoxicated…
After crashing his vehicle, Jason Kidd was allegedly arrested for driving under the influence in Southampton, New York on Sunday morning (July 15).
The NBA star was apparently driving his Cadillac Escalade when he crashed into a telephone pole just before 2:00 a.m. According to officials, the 39-year-old athlete was the only person involved in the accident and he was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
After being cleared from the hospital, Kidd was then taken to the police station for processing before being arraigned at the Southampton Town Justice Court on a misdemeanor DWI charge.
At this time, the New York Knicks player was released on his own bail.
