Via TMZ
Michael Clarke Duncan, star of such movies as “The Green Mile” and “The Whole Nine Yards,” passed away this morning. He was 54.
According to our sources, his passing came very suddenly. We’re told his fiancee, Omarosa Manigault, was with him in his hospital room in Los Angeles and left for a short period of time. When she returned … he had died.
Our sources say Omarosa’s mother was with him when he passed.
Duncan’s rep tells TMZ the actor never fully recovered from the myocardial infarction he suffered on July 13. As TMZ first reported, Omarosa found Duncan in cardiac arrest and performed CPR and was able to resuscitate him before calling 911.
The rep tells us, “[Omarosa] Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date.”
Duncan was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of John Coffey in “The Green Mile.” He worked as a bodyguard for celebrities like Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, LL Cool J, and Notorious B.I.G. before he got his break.
Mediaoutrage- Wow…so unexpected. Our prayers go out to his family and friends. Live life to the fullest everyday y’all.

Are you kidding me?! I mean, this is so unexpected. When is someone dying they always seem to wait until their loved one leaves the room to pass away…this is what my grandmother did when she passed.
My prayers go out to the family and his loved one.

i know, that is so true, and i wonder why? if they know they are about to go or what, my grandmum did the same, she was just laying there looking around, smiling like she was looking at something, she said did you see that. we was like what??? she said nothing, nevermind.. then she looked at us and asked us to go get her something to drink, when we left, i turned back around and looked back at her as i was heading out door, i saw her when she turned her head towards the window, like she was looking out the window or something, but it was that moment she passed.

Met a guy a few weeks ago who said he had just got out of the hospital from having a pretty bad heart attack. Just 31 yrs old, pretty good shape, but with a seriously concerned look on his face. Wondering how it happened and wanting to do whatever to prevent it from happening again. He told me, “I gotta be here to see my kids grow up” I could totally relate. I walked in the gym today and saw him without recognizing that was the guy I talked to for a while then, I remembered where I knew his face from. I was happy to see he was being proactive concerning what he said when I talked to him. You just never know when, why, or what happens does. Make the most of today!
R.I.P Michael Clarke Duncan
