Akon and T-Pain were performing in Australia Sunday when all hell broke loose.

A concert featuring Akon and T-Pain turned into pandemonium Sunday (October 25) that left 18 people injured in Melbourne, Australia.

The pair were headlining a concert at the HiSense Arena when rival gangs began brawling in the audience.

Nine people and two security guards were taken to the hospital in six ambulances, where they received treatment for lacerations, bruises and other minor injuries.

Akon leapt from the stage during his performance in an attempt to quell the violence, which continued throughout the remainder of the concert, which cost fans up to $125 dollars-per ticket.

“I don’t know if y’all know hard it took me to get here,” Akon said from the shoulders of a burly security guard. “It took me almost two years for Australia to let me back in the country and I’m not going to let them f**k up our concert tonight.”

One man was arrested for assaulting and knocking a security guard unconsciousness, while another six people reported injuries, but refused treatment.

According to reports, it took Akon almost two years to receive his work permit in Australia, due to his prior criminal record.

Akon made a baby with a woman who now wants him to make child support payments — but she claims the only thing he does better than sing is hide from process servers.
S Sara Coleman’s lawyer, Patrick Baghdaserians, has been desperately trying to serve Akon — even at Michael Jackson’s memorial — but so far no luck.

Akon has already taken a paternity test — and it was a match! The kid is 6 months old.

Akon’s lawyer gave us the following statement:

“Akon has taken responsibility and has been extremely cooperative and proactive in handling this private matter. Paternity was only established just over 30 days ago. Since the case was filed outside of Georgia jurisdiction, where he is a legal resident, Akon is currently in the process of engaging counsel in California and will continue to handle this matter in a timely manner.“

Akon is confused as to why the beef between he and Suge Knight’s camp is escalating in this way.

Despite reports that implied a connection between Akon and Suge Knight’s camp, Konvict music mogul Akon says he’s surprised over Wednesday’s armed robbery.

“I’m trying to figure out why it’s escalating to this extent. We never had no problems,” Akon told MTV News late Wednesday after being informed that his producer Detail had been robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

“All I can do is the right thing. Everything works itself out.”

Sources say Detail (the producer) owed Knight money and the men were there to collect by any means necessary.

By the time police showed up nearly $300,000 worth of jewelry, items in a safe and keys to a Mercedes had been stolen.
