Alex Rodriguez and wife Cynthia were spotted leaving dinner last night, at Houston’s in Miami with their two daughters Natasha and Ella. How convenient huh? Only a day after rumors went a swirling about the possibility of Alex ditching his family to spend Thanksgiving with Madonna, photographers catch the Rodriguez’s having some warm family time. Lenny Kravitz’s name has now popped up in this whole Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez Madonna mess. Kravitz’s former manager Guy Oseary alleges that Lenny was getting it in with Alex’s wife Cynthia who has accused Alex Rodriguez of running multiple affairs of which one including Madonna. Lenny is of course vehemently denying this craziness and looked like he was going to throw up in his own mouth when the news traveled back to him.

WHEN Lenny Kravitz learned he was being accused of having an extramarital affair with Alex Rodriguez’s wife, Cynthia, he “looked like he was going to throw up,” according to a witness.

Dodd Romero, the hulking fitness trainer who accompanied Cynthia to Paris, told The Post that Kravitz blames his former manager, Guy Oseary, for entangling the rocker in the twisted tales about Madonna and the Yankee slugger.

Romero called Kravitz two weeks ago to tip him off that Oseary – who managed Kravitz, Madonna and A-Rod – was about to “pimp out Madonna and A-Rod,” said a source. But Kravitz didn’t approve and told Romero, “I’ll take care of this” – and fired Oseary.

Kravitz was shocked when he was then accused of having a fling with the slugger’s wife, said the source. Romero believes Oseary planted the story in retaliation for being dumped.

Kravitz, Cynthia Rodriguez and Romero were all in Kravitz’s tour bus when the reports broke in Paris. “Lenny looked like he was going to throw up,” Romero told the Post. “Lenny said, ‘I worked so hard to clean up my image and now I’m gonna get dragged into this.’ “

The trio planned to fly to Spain to meet up with Denzel Washington, whom Romero also trains, but canceled when Kravitz’s alleged tryst made news. The group agreed it was best for Cynthia to instead head back to Miami to “sort out the mess.”

A rep for Kravitz confirmed he dumped Oseary two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, yesterday’s Times reported, “Madonna has denied having an affair with Rodriguez.” In actuality, the hair-splitting statement issued in her name said she is “not romantically involved with [Alex] Rodriguez.” As many readers of this newspaper know, you don’t have to be romantically involved to have an affair.

It was a celebration as Jay-z’s 40/40 in Las Vegas opened up last night with plenty of people out to support. The house was full of Jigga man’s champaign Ace of Spade and Diddy’s Ciroc Vodka. Lebron, Jeezy, Dr. J, Alex Rodriguez, Miss America Rachel Smith, Al Sharpton, Joe Jackson, Alan and Robin Thicke, Gary Payton and Charles Barkley were all out to help Jay and Beyonce celebrate the opening of the Las Vegas 40/40. Alex Rodriguez set another record for baseball’s highest contract, finalizing his $275 million, 10-year agreement with the New York Yankees on Thursday.

A-Rod set the previous mark with his $252 million, 10-year deal with Texas in December 2000. Traded to the Yankees in 2004, he opted out of that contract Oct. 28, during the final game of the World Series.

“Within two conversations we got a deal done,” Rodriguez recalled.

His new contract allows A-Rod to earn $30 million more for achieving historic milestones. He is 18th on the career list with 518 homers, 244 shy of Barry Bonds’ record.

Rodriguez receives salaries of $27 million next year, $32 million in 2009 and 2010, $31 million in 2011, $29 million in 2012, $28 million in 2013, $25 million in 2014, $21 million in 2015 and $20 million in each of the final two years.

His $32 million salaries in 2009 and 2010 will be the largest for one season in major league history.

Rodriguez could receive an additional $6 million each for five milestones that the team designates as historic achievements. They are contemplated to be tying the home run marks of Willie Mays (660), Babe Ruth (714), Hank Aaron (755) and Bonds, and breaking Bonds’ major league record.

Rumor has it that Shaq has finally sold his Star Island Mansion in Miami to none other than Baseball great Alex Rodriguez. Shaq purchased the property for $18.8 million in 2004 but we guess he has no need for the huge crib anymore being that he and Shaunie are getting a divorce. Shaq has sold the mansion for in between $25 million and $27 million. And we know A-Rod can afford to cop the property given the huge amount of money he is seeking in his new contract.

To get their desired face-to-face meeting with Alex Rodriguez and his agent, the Yankees would have had to start the negotiations on a contract extension for the star third baseman with a guarantee of at least $350 million, Yankee sources say A-Rod’s agent told them. Scott Boras, Rodriguez’s rep, told YankeesGM Brian Cashman of the requirement in a conversation Oct. 25, the sources said. Three days later, during Game 4 of the World Series between Boston and Colorado, Boras announced that Rodriguez had opted out of the final three years of his historic $252 million contract.

That’s big money.

Alex Rodriguez is about to do in November what he hasn’t been able to do in October: Produce some real eye-popping numbers.

The New York Yankees’ star third baseman, already the highest paid U.S. athlete in professional team sports, is likely to sign a new multi-year contract soon that could be between $300 million and $400 million.

A huge nine-figure deal is virtually certain. What’s not known is where he’ll sign.

But you don’t have to be Scott Boras, A-Rod’s uber-agent, to argue that a team can give his client a hefty raise and still have the deal be a good one.

Even if you don’t believe all of Boras’ arguments about the economic benefits of lavishing money on his top client (and I don’t), the changes in the market for players’ salaries, and the improvement in the game’s overall economic outlook, means it makes sense to sign the game’s most productive player, even at top dollar.
