A court has put a higher value on being Britney Spears‘ father this year: about $75 an hour.

Kevin Federline spoke to People Magazine about the court battle that ensued between he and ex-wifey and resident train-wreck, Britney.

Kevin Federline says money was no object in his custody battle with Britney Spears.

Federline tells People magazine he vowed to “spend every last dime” to make sure that sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were OK.

“That’s all that mattered. I didn’t know how much power Britney had. That really scared me,” he says.

Federline and Spears split up in 2006 after two years of marriage. The aspiring rapper later gained custody of their boys as Spears’ behavior spiraled downward. Spears has said that things fell apart when Federline began focusing on his rap career. But Federline tells the magazine he was more concerned with the children.

“Not that I ignored Britney, but my kids are always most important,” he says.

Michael Jackson got all the way crunk with it last week as he perused through his closet of crazy early 80’s gear and threw on some sh*t he thought was hot (blue thing with the leather pants). He was probably thinking “Im going to kill em tonight! With this sh*t right heeeere! This sh*t right heeeere! ooooo this sh*t right heeeeeeere!.” So he got dapper and strolled on over to the Peterson Automotive Museum in LA for his friend, designer Christian Audigier’s 50th birthday bash. My man Christian was hype lol just check out the facial expressions. Snoop, Fergie, and Macy Gray were also in the place to get it crackin. Britney Spears was there but didn’t perform. We wonder how much MJ got paid to perform cause you know he wasn’t doing sh*t for free.

» Jive Records, which has brought in more than $400 million thanks to the 83 million albums the singer has sold.

» Tour promoters and venues — Her tours have grossed $150 million, with the average take for her 265 solo shows at $583,138 each.

» Pure Nightclub — The Las Vegas hotspot reportedly sold seats at a table next to Britney’s for $50,000 at a recent party. Portfolio says Spears still pulls down between $250,000 and $400,000 just for showing up at events.

» Perfume maker Elizabeth Arden — The company has sold nearly $100 million worth of the Spears scents Believe, Curious and Fantasy.

» The paparazzi — Photos of Britney can bring in anywhere from $250 for a basic going-to-get-a-cup-of-coffee shot to $100,000 or more for an exclusive. Looks like Britney Spears might have finally cracked.

Britney Spears was admitted to Cedars Sinai hospital in L.A. early this morning following a dramatic evening in which cops were called to her home after she refused to hand her two sons back to her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The troubled 26-year-old is on a 72-hour hold at the hospital, reportedly under suicide watch. She is getting a psychiatric evaluation and is being drug tested.

The trouble began last night when K-Fed’s bodyguard arrived at Britney’s Beverly Hills home to collect Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. She refused to let them leave and cops were called to the house. A source said that Britney was “hysterical and just wanted to keep the kids overnight.” Additionally, police reportedly noted that Britney was “under the influence of an unknown substance.”

K-Fed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, and Britney’s divorce attorney, Anne Kiley, were called to the home in an effort to resolve the stand-off.

After a tense time, during which cops threatened to arrest her if she didn’t hand over the kids, Kiley drove Sean Preston to Kevin’s house, while Jayden was rushed to the hospital. Sources tell PageSix.com that Jayden is “going to be fine.”

Britney was then transported to Cedars Sinai in an ambulance and was seen being transported into the hospital on a stretcher, looking somewhat dazed and confused, with her legs in restraints.

Our well-placed source says that the stress and mental anguish of the ongoing custody battle has caused the pop star to “lose a tremendous amount of weight in the past several weeks.”

Earlier yesterday, Britney finally showed up for her deposition in the custody case, albeit nearly two hours late. Wearing a hot pink minidress with a plunging back, she was deposed for a total of 13 minutes.

PerezHilton.com is reporting that K-Fed’s lawyer is likely to go to court this morning to ask for an ex-parte hearing in which she could lose custody of the kids.

Britney’s father, Jamie, is at the hospital with Britney, as is her pal Sam Lufti, but there is no sign of her mother, Lynne.

On The Wendy Williams show Wendy had this to say about Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn who revealed yesterday that she is pregnant.

“She is a hooker with no condom. I hope that Nickelodian cancels her show and fires her just like they would do if it were a young black actress that kids look up to. If it were a 16 year old Raven Simone she would be fired and lose her show. I’m not making this a black and white thing but that is the reality of what goes on.“
