Jay-Z and Beyonce were spotted front-row for the Nets vs Knicks game last night at Madison Square Garden as Carmelo Anthony made his return to the Jeremy Lin led line up. The Nets gave the Knicks an L by the way.

Jay-Z is all about breaking down those barriers and ascending to heights not yet realized in Hip-Hop. Although Wyclef was the first Hip-Hop artist to perform at Carnegie Hall, it’s still a big deal that Jay took over the place last night and performed “Glory” for the first time.

Jay-Z was looking like the very powerful mogul he is last night at the grand re-opening of his 40/40 in New York city. Amazing how this man went from street rapper to the iconic status he now operates on. That’s the American dream right there.
