26-yr-old Richard Jones is the man pictured in the green hoodie who was caught on surveillance camera shooting up a West Philadelphia bar Thursday night with an AK-47. He did the right thing and turned himself into police custody yesterday with family support. He is definitely looking at some real time for having a machine gun, shooting at the bar and at a police officer, terrorizing a woman afterwards and evading arrest. This is sad on so many levels. A gunfight was taking place outside of a school classroom and the teacher tried her best to distract the frightened children by singing to them. Kudos to her.
