Bill Gates has resumed his place on top of the list of wealthiest Americans. A few months ago this man had removed Gates from the #1 spot. Bill Gates now has a net worth of $57 billion which is enough to land him back on top. Gates has given away a lot of his fortune. Ted Turner has been the largest private land owner in the United States for quite some time now. He recently won the bid for 26,300 acres of prime ranch land for $10million.

Turner has amassed 2 million acres over the past two decades to become the largest private landowner in the country. He owns land in at least nine states, with most of his holdings in New Mexico, Nebraska, Montana and South Dakota.

Now that’s real wealth right there.

Rumor has it that Shaq has finally sold his Star Island Mansion in Miami to none other than Baseball great Alex Rodriguez. Shaq purchased the property for $18.8 million in 2004 but we guess he has no need for the huge crib anymore being that he and Shaunie are getting a divorce. Shaq has sold the mansion for in between $25 million and $27 million. And we know A-Rod can afford to cop the property given the huge amount of money he is seeking in his new contract.
