Beyonce cried

Posted by Media Outrage on February 14th, 2008

Beyonce and Tina Turner

After the Grammys performance with her idol Beyonce admits that she cried. Here’s what she had to say…

“She’s my hero and my icon. It was just crazy. I went into the room and I just balled because I couldn’t believe it. She is the absolute best. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to do for years and it actually happened. It’s amazing when those moments actually come to life. ”

That’s dope to see that Icons even have Icons. Do you know how many emerging singers would cry if they did a duet with Beyonce???

Janet Jackson

The albums weren’t right.” She hopes this album will do better. She also says that she hasn’t seen Michael in a long time.

Nelly

Nelly celebrated Apple Bottoms 5th anniversary at TAO in Vegas last night. We’re wondering where Ashanti was. It seems like every since Deelishis put their supposedly fake relationship on blast that we haven’t seen them out together a lot.

50 was heated with baby mom

Posted by Media Outrage on February 14th, 2008

50

50 was sick of his baby mom Shaniqua Tomkins the mother of his 10 year old son Marquis Jackson for continually asking him for money, so he took her to court to let them decide how much he should pay in child support. She asked for $50,000 a month in support, and they on decided $25,000, but then after going through her and Marquis’s expenses they lowered it to $6,700 a month. 50′s lawyer Brett Kimmel said, “My client and I are very happy with the ruling. The court was not blinded by celebrity, nor dazzled by wealth, but applied sound reasoning in assessing the reasonable needs of the child, which is the proper legal standard.”

Now that sounds very reasonable instead of these lottery winnings that these chicks usually get. Finally a judge without a bias.

Matthew Knowles responds to Aretha's criticism of his daughter

Posted by Media Outrage on February 14th, 2008

Matthew Knowles

We knew Matthew wasn’t just going to stand by and be mute while Aretha Franklin attacked Beyonce with accusations of trying to slight her at the Grammys by introducing Tina Turner as “The Queen”. Here’s what Matti had to say…

“I’m not even going to take this to [Beyonce]. Something this ridiculous, it’s childish, it’s unprofessional. And it’s a sad day when egos get bruised because somebody used the word king, queen, prince or princess.”

He has a good point. We’ll risk being redundant, repetitive, and saying this again that we don’t believe Beyonce was trying to piss on Aretha Franklin’s ego or pride by referring to Tina Turner as “The Queen”.
