It was on and poppin’, for Queen Latifah’s birthday bash, out in Hollywood on Saturday night. Everyone and they great-aunt was in the place to help Dana (Queen) turn another year older. Her trainer/strap-on wearer, Jeanette Jenkins (gotta love the last name lol), was all smiles to help her boo celebrate. All the Kims were in the building. Lil’ Kim, Kim Kardashian, Lisa Raye who was once again rockin’ WHITE, Vivica Fox, Heavy D, Nassir Jones, Spinderella, David Banner, Tracy Morgan and his short haired shorty, MC Lyte, who really had it going on, Linda and Greg Mathis, Omar and Keisha Epps, Yo-Yo (rapper from the 90′s), and the boy Evan Ross all showed up to help Queen celebrate her b-day in style. Maxwell who hasn’t dropped anything lately was in attendance at the G-Star Fashion Show in NYC yesterday. Ladies does Maxwell still do it for you? Harlem buddies Damon Dash and Jim Jones also hit up the event. It’s good to see Dame out and about despite the financial woes. Ryan Leslie might need to look into getting a nice nose reduction.

David Banner spoke his mind to SOHH regarding the unjust acquittal for 3 police officers who killed Sean Bell on the morning of his wedding day who was unarmed. The cops fired 50 shots and hit him 16 times. Here’s what Banner had to say to SOHH…..
“I was outraged but I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t get mad anymore. I have to think logically. I think one of the problems with America is that we’ve adapted Bush’s cowboy mentality to everything. With the Sean Bell situation New York is basically saying, ‘f*ck n*ggas.
Banner was shocked that while the three officers were brought up on eight counts, not even one charge against the cops stuck.
“[They] shot Sean Bell 51* times and they got eight counts and you can’t convict on one count. Not even endangerment? You shot 51 times homie!”
The rapper said “cowards” allow injustices to go unpunished and he counts himself amongst the lot.
“They know that we not gonna do sh*t. We ain’t gonna do sh*t but beef amongst ourselves. Our generation is a bunch of cowards and they know that and that’s including me. All of us, we cowards and if you’re not a coward then do something about it.
All these tough ass rappers, where they at now. Where are the football players? The basketball players? Where are our senators? Where are the other black cops that work with them cops that shot their children? They’re cowards!”
“It pisses me off, I’m hurt and to a certain degree I’m scared, too. I got to be enough of a man to say that.”
