Lebron and girlfriend and mother of his children, Savannah Brinson, both hit up the Gucci Cocktail party on Fifth Avenue.  It’s good to see the young unmarried couple holding on to their sanity with all of the groupies in pursuit of LBJ.  But then again, when you’re a $100 million athlete and a woman has kids by you, it would be in your best interest not to act a fool unless you’re prepared to pay like $150,000 a month in child support.  Mary J. The media was doing a job on Lebron after exiting his final playoff game in the Eastern Conference against the Orlando Magic, without shaking hands or giving a post-game interview.  When that blew over, they then took shots at King James for allegedly having a tape of him getting dunked on, confiscated after a Nike pick-up game.  Well LBJ finally spoke on these two overly-hyped situations…. The best player definitely won the award this year.  LeBron James had his best season yet, by leading his Cavaliers to a franchise best, 66-16 record.  They tied the 1996 Chicago Bulls for second best home record of 39-2, behind the 1985 Boston Celtics who went 40-1.  LeBron led his team in just about every statistical category there is.  Congrats to the 24 year old, King James!  Now his journey has begun, to put the cherry-on-top, by winning his first and the franchise’s first NBA Championship.  Read more details on how he was presented the MVP trophy back in his high school gym right here.

LeBron James who could be considered to be the greatest show on Earth right now in the NBA, was in New York last night for a Gotham Magazine event. LeBron has so many things to smile about, one of them being the fact that his Cleveland Cavs currently hold the best record in the league with the playoffs right around the corner.
